Hey guys
I have a Question. I'm testing VMware View for my company.
We have several classrooms within a networkprinter.
When the user A in the Classroom Y log in, he should have the network printer from Classroom Y.
When the user A in the Classroom X log in, he should have the network printer from Classroom X.
How do i do this with VMware View?
We are currently using Leostream. With Leostrem we can do this based on the VLANs.
Sorry for my english
Check "Setting Up Location-Based Printing" in the VMware View Administration guide.
You can set up rules based on the Client's IP, MAC, or name.
I suppose you could also "build your own," using the "CommandsToRunOnConnect" and "CommandsToRunOnReconnect" policies, and a script that reads Client info from HKCU\Volatile Environment
