Nested Virtual Machines

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible and supported to have an instant clone of a machine with nested VMs enabled.

in Horizon 5

i use nested VM with full clone with vmware workstation inside the full clone it was for education purpose du to Linux was not supported that day

, it works with me however we lost the mouse in inner VM

linked clone it didn't work because of disk lock in the disk and i thin instance clone would have the same behavior

I didn't understand the disk lock part,

why were the disks locked when using nested VMs ?

i donot remember exactly the error , however when you use vmware workstation that use full Vm upon linked clone we faced an issue and it shows error related to disk lock and cant power on the VM, but if you use full clone VM in horizon it worked fine but still we lost the mouse
