NVIDIA GRID - Verify VM is utilizing 3D rendering

I've followed the View 7 and GRID deployment guides. I'm wondering how in the heck I can verify that my test VM is actually using the K1 card.

What I've done thus far:

1) Loaded GPU-Z and the RED Turbine demo.

2) Verified that GPU-Z shows the GRID K180Q card/profile.

3) With RED Turbine running, executed 'nvidia-smi vgpu' from the ESXi host.  The GRID K1 card shows 80%+ usage, while the VM itself shows 0% usage (???)

The RED Turbine demo gives a total score of 830, which seems VERY low compared to the reports I've seen others getting.  What can I do to verify that the VM is actually using the GRID card for 3D acceleration?

Thanks!

The utilization can be monitored by using VMware vRealize Operations for Horizon with NVIDIA GRID:
