Hello,
I'm evaluating the deployment of VDI with VMware View. I found the there is a limitation in the MMR module with flash format. Does someone know the status of this limitation at this moment?
Thanks!
What client are you using?
VMware and Wyse have solutions in development (both shown in Sept at VMworld). Release of the Wyse flash support should be coming earlyish next year. Flash works, just flash multimedia fails, such as YouTube.

I would rather use linux clients, although a win thin client (wyse winxpe) would also be considered.
Do you know if there is a demo available of the wyse (dektone/tcx) solution?
Contact you local Wyse representatives if you want details about the flash code.
When you say Linux, do you meant ThinOS?

I mean other OS than Windows. It can be wyse thinOS or an old PC with linux.
Provision Networks sent me a demo of their Experience Optimization Pack for VAS 5.10, but the flash test it went very bad in our labs, and they told us to wait for VAS 6.0...
Hope to get better results with wyse.
Thanks
I've had good Flash performance with PanoLogic DAS 2.5 (recently released). I know everything was waiting to adapt to Flash 10 before they built in the capabilities for Flash and we'll probably see a cycle of releases. Since Vmware Liceneses Wyse MMR it would make sense to see those updates occur close together.
I have tested iGel and they were not the best performances either. However they have partnered with RES and are supposed to be releasing updates to their connection protocols as well.
