I upgraded my MAC to version 5.5.4 and soon after the multi display setting reverted to single display. Changing the settings option to multi display did not work because it continues revert back to single display

Please make sure, "Customise Remote Desktop settings" in client settings window of your vm is "Automatic".
Otherwise, it will force fullscreen mode to "Single display"
