Move vcenter & composer with View Linked clones.

Moving  Composer and vCenter  from Windows 2008 to Windows 2012R2 . IPs and host names will change.

I don't know how to re-point the Connector servers so they point at the new vCenter and Composer server without losing my link clone pools?

Hello,

I do not think you can do that.

Moving View-managed desktops between VMware vCenter Servers is not supported (1018045)

You can change the composer server, following the procedure for migrating the composer server to a different machine, but vcenter I do not think so.

If your vcenter is configured to the View Admin via a FQDN then you can change the ip address. Not the host name though.

Thanks

John
