Monitoring user experience of Horizon client

We had some users today complain about their screen freezing up in the middle of a session.

They are restored with a reboot of their VDI. In the past we've seen these errors - or complaints

of slowness in the VM. I wondered what tools exist for monitoring user experience of

Horizon VDI sessions. We have Solar Winds User Experience. Is there anything which

gauges who the users are experiencing VDI?

vROps for Horizon comes with Horizon Enterprise. That is your only real “built-in” option for historical UX monitoring.


ControlUp and VMware’s recently announced partnership may also bring some goodness to replace vROps, but we shall see.
