Microsoft 365 - Licensing Instant Clones

Hi,

Doing some googling to see if there's anything in the pipeline for quirky instant clone licensing with Microsoft subscription CSP stuff. Read this dated March 2019 and wondering if its still relevant - Address VDI and M365 licensing – Customer Feedback for ACE Community Tooling tl;dr for it: basically instant clones have the same SID so wont work for Azure AD for Windows 10 CSP licensing. Anyone know of anything new or is KMS still the only method for licensing instant clones.

I have and there is a lot of stuff for the Office suite but can find anything relating to Microsoft 365 in particular licensing Windows 10.
