Microphone support in VMWare view using an Igel Converted desktop

Hi All

Im having an issue getting any microphone to work with Igel converted desktops. Im using View 5.3 with the latest Multimedia client

If I use the view client on a laptop. I can get both headphones and a mic to passthough.

If I load up an Igel converted desktop I get the headphones to work and nothing from the mic. ive used both USB and Jack socket ones.

Anyone had similar issues ?

I have also a Problem with my IGEL.

IGEL Universal Desktop LX
UD2-LX 40
10.06.130.01

I have sound on IGEL Desktop but if i log in on Remote Desktop than I don´t have.
If i log in from Another Laptop or PC witch has a Windows OS and not IGEL own OS system than going.
So therefore that problem is between IGEL and VMWare.

Hi,

I find the Soultion for youre issues. You must Update youre Firmware.
You going to the UMS and where in UMS are the Universal Firmware Update, you going with the right mouse button and choos the New Universal Firmwares Update search. In the next window you choos youre Modell and the newest version and Download. It will download automaticly.

If you have youre New Firmware Version, You need to Pull on youre Computer in UMS and on the PC right klick Update and Immediatly.

Thats it, and will work USB, sound everything.
