Memory Reservation for View Desktops

"Set the VMware View Master Template with a 50% memory reservation so all VDI machines deployed have a 50% memory reservation"

Source: http://joshodgers.com/2012/12/17/example-architectural-decision-memory-reservation-for-virtual-deskt...

Is anyone else doing this?  My template is currently set to 0 for the Memory reservation.

My current setup:
Windows 7 x64
2 vCPU
3GB RAM

So I should set the memory reservation to 1536 and test?

Yes I usually recommend this. You will not notice any big difference in performance but will save your storage because it will only need to create half as big swap-file on disk.
