I can't be the only one who is getting increasing pressure about our technology choice thanks to the rise and rise of MS Teams. Since Covid, all we ever hear about is collaboration and video conferencing, two things most of our users hadn't even heard of before 2020.
The helpful MS 365 Roadmap site gives a good indication of when new features are coming - such as the newer meetings interface and live captioning, but there's still a long way to go to meet the full version of Teams.
In particular the feature all of our users are asking for is the ability to blur backgrounds, something that doesn't feature on their VDI roadmap.
There's a thread on the MS Feedback portal asking for this, but it sits multiple pages down the priority. Collectively, could we increase the priority of it to get the request noticed by all voting and commenting? VDI - Custom Backgrounds and Blur · Community (microsoft.com)
Likewise, there's a more ambitious thread asking for feature parity between 'regular' and VDI - Stop unnecessary VDI limitations · Community (microsoft.com).
If you see this, please vote and share. However unlikely, just maybe we'll get more priority assigned to getting this application working properly.
