I'm a post-secondary customer with a 'traditional' lab set up that is configured in the following way
10 labs of approximately 25 computers in each lab.
Each Lab has one printer - and the 25 computers that are in that lab have a GPO that ensures that they get the local 'in-lab' printer as the default
The challange is how can we continue to use these printers that are based on our print-server and still maintain the 'in-lab' style of printing
I have looked through the thin print documentation and I can not find anywhere using the built-in vmware tools to map a queue-based printer.
We can not do direct-IP printing because of the potential of abuse of printing and waste of paper with our queues we can audit printing.
I'm certain I'm not the only one out there with this challange - can anyone offer a way that they have managed to solve this problem?
