Local mode issues

Hello all!

New to View, just implemented a five node view cluster, quad core, 512GB per host... Awesome cluster. The Linked clones I have created are in HW ver 8, some have 6GB ram and some have 12GB (graphics vms). What are the restrictions for local mode? Does the end client, who is checking out the vm for download, have to have the sam amount of ram and the VM? in testing, when I go to check out the VM, it get the error: "The client does not support the VM HW version"

Hi,

Checking out a View desktop that uses virtual hardware version 8 is not supported.

You require more than same amount of RAM, checked out desktop will require whatever RAM it is configured for and host machine requires RAM for its operation.
