Local Mode for View on iPAD

So I just got a new iPAD2 and installed all of the VMware Apps for the iPAD (unfortunately only two of them), both View and the VS Client are up and running and work better than exptected. That being said, I have looked all over and asked around at VMware and have not gotten a straight answer on whether or not VMware is planning on developing a local mode feature that is currently available with the current releases of view.

Any updates would be apprecaited, thanks in advance.

Local mode on the iPad?  No, that is not on the roadmap.  Apple has rules on this.

I think it also is rather impossible running an x86 VM on an atom processor. You'de have to use an emulator which never before has been good for performance.
