Hi all , at the peak hours at high utilisation period some of the VDI VM are facing the issue like keyboard not working , means the keystrokes are not passing to the VDI VMs but the cursor is able to function properly could not figure out where exactly might be the cause , need some help like to search over from where to look over in the VM for the logs for this kind of issues.
Note : after the force reboot of the VDI VM the keystrokes and all the functions of the keyboard are working properly
Hello, do you have any ressource pool or any other ressource limitation defined for the VDI having the issue ?
did you use ESXtop on the host and check for cpu ready or any other ressource contention when the problem occurs? (ballooming, network packet drop, storage i/o problem).
Regards.
yes we have the resource pool but its not defined, in resource pool checked the allocate unlimited check box
Check the esxtop as well found CSTOP value more than 5.0 for the affected machine, nothing found weird apart from it so migrated to other host and then it came to 1.08(CSTOP value) but still the keyboard seems to be not functional
Need to take one reboot of the machine to resolve the issue but my users and client doesnt want their machine to rebooted for this issue !!!!
Hi, CSTOP so high is not good at all, not sure if this is the root cause of your problem but you have to find out anyway.

Do you have some specific keyboards (with usb sound speaker, etc...) ? or any other specifics like usb sound card ?
Regards.
Hello, any news about your problem ?
Regards.
No there are no specific keyboards with sound speakers and all, it occurs randomly with multiple machines and we access the VDI through three different kinds of Thinclients products: HP compaq LE1902x and HP V185e and VXL ITONA TC6700.
performance issue resolved bro but still the keyboard related issue persists.
