Join Parent image to domain before creating linked clones?

Do we have to join the parent image to the domain before creating a snapshot and using it for floating pools linked clones?

No, it will be joined to the domain during the quick prep process.     I have seen some post where people have done it thought and it shouldn't cause problems either way.

Agree with Mittim12...   Works either way but we have our parent images joined to domain before.  This helps us make sure things are setup OK on image for domain use for users and lets us do a bit more testing before we rollout.
