Is it possible to "load balance" users connecting to 2 images exactly alike? I balance now using groups within Active Directory.
I dont understand what you mean. Can you clairfy. Do you mean access to two pools, or two desktops?
Remember you can either assign users to an individual desktop, or you can have a pool of desktops which anyone can connect to, randomly each time.
Have two pools with access balanced between the two with one set of users.
If the image is exactly the same, why do you have two pools? Unless the pool settings are differnt, eg enabling USB redirection.
If nothing is different, jsut have one pool. You can balance across datastores in the pool settings. The pool will automatically balance across a cluster.
You may need a second pool if you are crossing clusters.
You can either have a 1:1 relationship between one user and one View machine or a floating one, but still only one user can connect at a given point of time. So no load balancing here.
What do you try to achieve? One user having two sessions? Or what?
