Instant clone provisioning error -Horizon 8

Hello, today I got an error at provisioning the desktop pool:

error during provisioning cloning of vm <NAME> has failed: fault type is AD_FAULT_FATAL-com.vmware.daas.cloneprep.ldapexception: unable to get connection, resultcode=91 (connect error), errormessage=null

What can cause this kind of error, and how to avoid it.

I encountered exact issue and it turned out that one of my AD sites were down and Horizon was trying to talk to that site as it was PDC.

To understand what's happening with the pool, look in the logs and see if there's any errors relating to your Domain. 

The fix that I implemented is force Horizon to point to the secondary, and that was via editing the following in the ADSI.
