Instant Clones & FSLogix

Hi all,

I'm working on a Horizon View pool. It's setup as an instant clone pool. The profiles are managed with FSlogix.

Now...most of it is working. But some user profile settings such as:

- Outlook Signature
- Taskbar icons
- Default Apps
.
.
are not retained through log on / log off.

Now I'm aware this could be solved with log on/off scripts, however, I'm wondering if there's another way of achieving this with FSLogix?
We do not have DEM licenses.

Thanks,

Hi @enso_ ,

Which license bundle of Horizon was purchased? DEM Standard Edition is enclosed with Horizon Standard and Advanced.

That's what I thought but then VMware support said the licenses are seperate. However, I believe I just confirmed online that it is indeed included.

Without having worked with DEM before, I assume it's exactly the solution I'm looking for to include and exclude profile information such as signatures, app defaults, etc. ?

Hi Samir,

Not sure what your definition is of Signatures but the Flex configuration files provide roaming of application and Windows settings that DEM manages between sessions.
