Installing on Opensuse 11.x 64bit for use with susestudio

I've successfully ported the client to Opensuse 11.x 64 bit.

I'll post the prebuilt rpm here in a little bit: http://www.thesummit-grp.com/index.php/blog/category/tech-blog

This has been tested on Opensuse 11.3 and 11.4  (64bit and 32 bit).

Its very easy.

1. Install alien  (find it here: http://software.opensuse.org/search)

2. alien -r vmware-view-client_1.3.0-0ubuntu1+oneiric2_i386.deb

A new vmware-view-client-1.3.0-1.i386.rpm is created

If your on 64bit make sure the following 32bit packages are installed

libopenssl0_9_8-32bit

libpcsclite1-32bit

3. rpm -ivh vmware-view-client-1.3.0-1.i386.rpm

Launch vmware-view!!

I've tested the client with PCOIP, I have not tested usb redirection yet.

This also works with susestudio to deploy a prebuilt VDI client.  Just upload the rpm.  I have been using a client built using a mangled HP View 4.6 client w/ PCOIP.  I've updated my appliance with this new client and it works great.

I'll post links to my susestudio appliance too.
