Installing View agent causes slow logins to desktop (Preparing Desktop phase)

Im running in to an issue with view 5.2 that whenever i install the agent it doubles or triples the time to a new user to login to the desktop if i uninstall the agent it goes back to normal...

Windows 7 with no agent takes about 10 to 15 to login...

Windows 7 with agent takes about 35 to 90 seconds to login... it gets stuck at the preparing desktop phase for most of the time...

in our out the domain to rule out GPOs

If we use PCoIP to login it takes about 30 to 45 seconds

if we use console or blast it can take as much as 2 minutes....

I tried building a brand new vm and was able to reproduce the times by installing the agent.

anyone else seeing this? is this normal?

Im about to try windows 8 to see if i can reproduce the problem on that OS

The issue was related to the thinprint feature of the agent. We removed the virtual print from the agent and now logon are consistent across all protocols at about 30 seconds...
