Installation error VMWare Horizon Client on Windows x64

Hello,

I have a problem installing VMware horizon client 2106 8.3.0

I cannot understand why i can't install, i'll provide the logs saved in %temp% folder.

I have tried unselecting support for Skype, HTML and Teams, changing folder directory, installing other versions of VMware and didn't work.

I hope someone can help me to figure out how to fix this problem,

Best regards,

I'm getting the same error on screen (very vague), but I'm also getting same error in vminst_.log file regarding "inf file is for a different device class". I'm sorry I'm not able to help.  I'm just trying to follow this in case someone has some help.  My OS is Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, Build 19043.1237.

Ciao @AliceOli

in the vminst_.log do you have this error, at the end of file, like @ferxx922 ?

2021-09-06T18:42:18.311-05:00| USBDeviceInstUtil-build-17990096| I0: Reboot not required

2021-09-06T18:42:18.311-05:00| USBDeviceInstUtil-build-17990096| I0: ERROR: Failed to install hcmon

Could there be some software on the customer that blocks driver installation or inhibits the use of USB devices?

i find this link

"Failed to install the hcmon driver" error when installing VMWare View or VMWare Workstation Client ...

maybe it could be a good way ...
