Increase view vm session timeout from view client

Hi All,

I have few users who connect to the VMware view VM's and when ever they leave their Physical machine idle for 15 mins their View VM disconnecting every time.

I know it could be the reason of group policy of local system to go in sleep mode when untouched the System. I have removed those physical systems from Sleep mode from group policy AD.

but still now the users complaint that the view vm disconnect everytime when they leave their physical system untouched for 15 mins.

I know that view vm session timeout can be increased from View Manager. But here is my users they themself connect to other view VM.

My Question is whether is their any way of increasing session timeout from VMware View Client installed Machine.

waiting for your valuable suggestions.

Thanks a ton in advance.

There is no way that I am aware of aside from typical Windows settings but those would be over ruled by a GPO.    So do you think it's a GPO or do you think it's the View global timeout value that is causing the issue?    i would think 15 minutes for a global timeout value is really low.

The web interface does timeout by default but I'm unsure where to  change the setting at or what the default is.  I just know that  sometimes I click on a pool and it tells me that I have to authenticate  again because the session has expired.  I want to say its around 30  minutes but again I haven't actually timed it. http://spaceship.sytes.net
