Implementation question

Shortly I will have to deploy a small (about 100 clients) View system. I already have Virtual Infrastructure running.

So the question is if it's better to create a new VirtualCenter only for View or if it makes sense to create a separate Data Center in the existing VC. Right now I have 8 ESX host and about 100 VM.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Cristiano

Eight is about the sweet spot and recommend best practice for a cluster size (well around 8 to 12). As your cluster is already that size and you are effectively going to double your VM count you are going to want to create a new cluster for VDI. You can use the existing VC to manage both. Once your VDI VM count moves beyond a certain size you are going to want a separate cluster.

I would also recommend you review the reference architecture guide.
