Hozion 8 migratin persistent disks

Does anybody tried to migrate persistent disk in Horizon 8 ?

I have 200 users with persistent disks and kind of worried about upgrade since persistent disks are not supported anymore? Can anybody share any experience ?

This is covered in detail in this new document and we provide a script (linked in doc) to migrate the data (Profile and Non-Profile data)

I saw the documentation, but just kind of worried to upgrade production environment and try to migrate the persistent disk.

It only copies data in the migration process (nothing removed).  Recommend starting with some test accounts and work out the migration process.

I'm planning to upgrade from Horizon 7.12 to Horizon 8 and our current setup is Linked Clones with persistent disks. Does this setup will continue to work after upgrade or we will have issues?

Linked clones (and persistent disks) are deprecated and will be removed in a future version of Horizon 8, but they are there and fully functional in Horizon 8 (2006).  You would just need to migrate to Instant Clones before you move to the next version of Horizon 8.

All the VMware tuttorials for Configuration of DEM are old and about UEM.

For example during the GPO settings for UEM it shows:

For DEM is changed right because I cannot find any exe named FlexEngine?

no, It is still there.  Here is DEM 9.11

That system looks like it had only the sync app installed to it and not the DEM agent
