How to, what to do, step by step, what's needed, etc.

Downloaded iPad app.

Downloaded vCenter Mobile Access (vCMA) virtual appliance.

Now what?

I want to try, test, play, experiment, etc., so I know what iot is, what to do, how to do it.

Directions are sparse, I have no idea what to do, unless it was setup by Admin in Corporate America.

Can I get a step by step, complete instruction set as to how to use this?

?????

This is not helpful, sorry.

I use VMware and Fusion.

What else do I need to do, use, learn, have, install, to utilize this new Vmware tool?

Look.

Obviously you are either busting my chops or cannot readmyquestion properly.

If I knew what was, what is, and might be, I would not ask such questions that may appear to be questionable to the community.

Once again, I will ask:

I own VMWare Fusion for the Mac.

I also 'play' with VMWare VM's on my Windows 7 box.

I've installed also VMWare Server.

That's it.

Period.

End of story.

I own several devices, one of which is an iPad.

I support 100's of clients in various ways.

Lot's of us have iPads and have been clamoring for the VMWare app that will allow VM's to operate via the iPad.

I understand the difference between a RDP, Remote Access and a VM.

I read with interest the blurbs in the press about this new and exciting app for the iPad, and I am confused and to the entire usage, implementation, etc., hence my questions as initally stated.

Do you understand now what I am asking?

The products you mention are not meant to work together. The vCenter Mobile Access is an application to manage vCenter Server using the VMware vSphere Client for iPad. The VMware View for iPad is an application to connect to clients in your company which are deployed in a VMware View environment. None of these products is meant for VMware Fusion.

The VMware View iPad client is desgined to be used with a VMware View infrastructure.  If you don't have that then it isn't going to be of much use.

You need to install server infrastructure in order to make that happen.    There are links scattered throughout this thread that would help you do that if you really wanted.    Someone also told me about a app for the iPad called Team View that would let you connect to your home desktop.  Might be worthwhile to check that out.
