How to change form security settings for Vmware View 4 login page?

The current form for the VMware View 4 login pae cache the Username and permit the password to be cached (using the built in IE browser password manager). How can this be changed to NOT have these two behaviors on the Username and Password form objects so that the form behaves like more secure login pages (OWA for example) preventing the browser from caching UserID or Password?

Additionally, is there a way to disable the pass through of credentials from the View browser session to the brokered workstation?

Check out this KB from Microsoft, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;229940 . For the pass through credentials you may want to try removing the SSO feature from the VM machine

We have no control over the IE client settings from where our clients are connecting. We need to set this within the Apache hosted webpages on the View Security server but can't find anywhere to do that. Nor can we set the session time out for the browser session to be anything less than 8 hours (which we want to do).

What we want to stop from happening is when a client connects from a home machine or a kiosk, we don't want the webpage rendered/served by our View Security server to permit the Username to be cached OR the password to be remembered by any browser feature (which is possible with settings on the form elements). Further we want the browser session to time out so that if the user leaves the browser opens, walks away, that other's can't open his available worksations. If we disable SSO, it will disable it for all brokered sessions, even internally brokered sessions (with Wyse devices) which we do want it enabled there.

To be honest I have never seen any VMware documentation or a community post that detailed how to change the settings on the browser from a VM side. Your best bet may be to open a support case.

Did that, they were of not assistance stating that is not a supported feature. They further recommended RSA SecurID for two factor authentication but we'd like this functionality built into the product. We've also submitted a feature request. This is really a make or break aspect of this product pushing us away from our current investment in View to another platform for external workstation brokering.

This was one of our last efforts to poll the community for a solution to this product deficiency...thanks for your time but VMware support only stated there 'might' be a solution but it wouldn't be supported...beyond that, they provided no more guidance on what possible solution would be...and we're not ready to invest in a TFA solution.

Any additional suggestions or comments from the community would be most welcome.
