How do I add Desktop-Pools in Trusted Domains?

Hi there,

(and hello everybody, this is my first post!)

We have View 5.2 and vCenter Server 5.5.

There are three domains with trusting and trusted relationships. One has the VIEW and VCENTER installed.

All I want is to create desktop pools and deploy them in the related domains.

When I'm creating a new desktop pool, I'm not able to discover the other domains to select the other OUs.

Where am I wrong? How do I prepare the other domains? I didn't find a doc describing this...

Hi,

I could find it out in the Geman document located on http://pubs.vmware.com/view-52/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/horizon-view-52-administration.pdf

1. Log in to View Administrator
2. Go to "View Configuration" -> 1st. Tab "vCenter Server"
3. You'll find at least one record for the vcenter Server
4. Click on "edit"
5. Go to "View Composer Server Settings"
6. In the next pop-up Window, you'll find "Domains"
7. Click on "add" and enter a Domain Administrator account.
