I got some application virtualized with a manual farm, when I sign in via horizon or web I can see them.
When I try to sign with thin a PRAIM thin client which dislpays VMs only.
How could I display them on ?
Your thinclient needs to support published applications. Not an issue with Horizon. We use Wyse clients with the blast protocol and it does support published applications.
I kept PCOIP, now works. Just some checkboxes to check.
The published application is Inventor 2018.
Farm hardware spec:
4 cpu virtualized Xeon E5-2660 v3 @ 2.60GHz
16 GB RAM
Nvdia grid k160
Employees should log into published desktop via thin client with their account and then log again into Horizon Client and use inventor.
They can also have workstation but the goal to get rid of, obviusly if it's possible.
Do you consider this an improper way to use published applications?
I'm able to use it but now I notice an anomalous CPU usage(about 60%) and almost all ram on farm.
This with just an istance running with a small project.
That is not powerfull enough since Inventor will be used by 10 users at the same time.
In my situation should I switch to blast?
Thanks to everyone
