Horizon8-Printer appears using Blast but not RDP-Redirection

I'm currently setting up desktop pools for external users who want to print documents from the Horizon session to their local printer at home.

We've been using the Microsoft RDP protocol as default, but recently discovered that local printers do not appear in the printer selection of any application. OS is Server2019 DC.

I changed the port to VMware Blast, and my local printer shows (and works!). Is there anything RDP ports require to allow print redirection? I've checked policies for anything that could be disabling it, and nothing has been set.

Any help appreciated!

With the release of Horizon 8, ThinPrint is not supported any longer. VMware Integrated Printing supports the display protocol Blast or PCoIP, but unfortunately not RDP.
