Horizon view client vs html access

Is there a way to differentiate between a user coming in through the html web client or the Horizon desktop client ?

Yes. You can check that using horizon help desk tool.

Session Details for Horizon Help Desk Tool

>Launch 'newadmin' page using <https://Connection_server_URL/newadmin>

>Search for the username

>Open session details and you can see Client type and other session details there.
