Good day everyone,
I have been running Horizon view client on my laptop for close to a year now. couple of days ago I got an error and failure to launch. something related to libcurl.dll missing. I tried to troubleshoot the problem but I finally give up and uninstalled the Horizon client. downloaded the latest (3.2) and run the installation wizard. it failed with a very ambiguous error message (Installation ended prematurely, try to run the installation program again) . needless to say I tried multiple time with no success.
I am not quiet sure what caused the problem or how to fix it. I am hoping someone has seen this problem before and can advise
System : Windows 7 Home Premium 32b SP1
ACER Aspire laptop intel core I7 4G RAM and plenty of SSD disk space
also I found this log file under /vmware/vdm/log . can not make anything out of it but thought it may help
