Happy new years
Can a writable volume via AppVolumes be used for instant clone user profiles?
Is this a recommended industry standard or is the DEM folder redirection to a file server a better way In respects to login times and complexity? I'm not sure how many people are using writable volumes for this or if it's just recommended for Outlook OST files. I just know it's possible according to the vendor documentation.
Thanks again
Hi, when it comes to profile management including folder redirection, DEM is the way to go. As DEM has continued to evolve there has been less emphasis put on using writeable volumes. DEM provides greater flexibility when it comes to managing user profiles.

Sounds good, thanks
