What is the horizon client version you are running?

Did you install it from windows store?

Are you connecting internally or from external network? Does the connection goes through a security server/UAG/load balancer?

Check if VMware Knowledge Base  helps Or else please provide the client log bundle and share:VMware Knowledge Base

No, from VMware website sir.

Client = External network.
Connection server goes through Security server. no Load balancer

Horizon is working properly in local/internal.

What is the URL you are connecting to? Try using the public IP address instead of FQDN and see.

Check the URL is correctly set on security server tunnel URL under PCoIP and Blast external URLs. Try to switch the protocol and see if it works with any.

Since it fails only from outside, please check the all required ports are open on firewall. Since you are using HTML client, it will utilize blast protocol. Please check VMware Knowledge Base  and verify all mentioned ports are open between client to security server and then security server to connection server on backend firewall.

Do you have security server in DMZ? Disabling OS level firewall is not enough.

You need to check your firewall settings of DMZ.

Hi

Please follow below doc and check if it resolves the issue (Considering all ports requirements are met):

Allow HTML Access Through a Gateway

Make sure external URLs are correct as per: Modify the External URLs for a Security Server

I got similar error however mine was "Connection timed out reach".

Solution.

I logged unto the connection server, windows services, restarted VMware Horizon view Connection Server services and it works.

If the service does not restarted properly, do a manual restart.

Hope it helps.
