I have a user that is unable to use a dual monitor set-up reliably. Outside of Horizon her monitors work fine, but when she opens her desktop the secondary monitor goes blank.
Windows Display shows the secondary monitor is active. Settings in vmware are set to use dual monitors and no amount of toggling between different resolutions and back to dual monitors does not bring the secondary monitor back. There are also no other users reporting this issue.
I have turned off Display Scaling, Adjusted the display settings in vmware, reinstalled the Horizon client. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
note: we are unable to update the app at this time, as we have some software that is reliant on this particular version.
Has the machine been configured properly for enough monitors? Think pool settings but also video memory and monitors configured on the vm itself.
Since you have mentioned that no other users are seeing this issue and assuming all users are using the same golden image and horizon client version, I would expect it to be an issue with the client or the monitor settings. Are both the monitors the same model and setup correctly? If you are using thin client, probably check the thin client settings as well?
