Horizon Windows Client Idle Session Timeout Question

Hello,

When connecting to a Horizon Desktop using a UAG or Security Server and the Horizon Windows Client I noticed the credentials are always cached on the desktop until the client is closed or manually logged off.

Is there something I can configure other than "Forcibly disconnect the session after 10 hours" that would force a user to reauthenticate after the session state switches to disconnected?

To reproduce the issue, log into a desktop pool with the Horizon Client, I am using the latest build.  Disconnect from the desktop and leave the client open so that your entitled desktops are still displayed.  The client caches the credentials and doesn't force the user to reauthenticate unless the client is closed or logged off.

thanks in advance

Hi @andrewsanderson,

With Discard SSO credentials, users must log in again to connect to a desktop after the specified number of minutes has passed since the user logged in to Horizon, regardless of any user activity on the client device.

Thank you.

I will test this out.
