I am in trouble please help -
I have following installed -
My issue is that
No network communication between the View Agent and Connection Server. Please verify that the virtual desktop can ping the Connection Server via the FQDN. while I can Ping the Viewer by its Domain Name from my VM
kb.vmware.com indicates its a compatibility issue
I request you to please help me to resolve the issue.
I would recommend this step-by-step guide:

Thanks for the reply will try by this & get back to you..But one question Why cant use Win8 VM?
It should be supported from 5.2, Windows 8.1 was added in 5.3.
Have you set the correct OS on the virtual machine configuration?
Is your vCenter updated to support Windows 8?
// Linjo
When you created the template for the Linked Clone Pool, did you update the VMware Tools after installing the View Agent? This can cause the issue you describe where the Linked Clones cannot connect to the Connection Server because the Vmware Tools installer will have replaced/updated some of the drivers and DLLs that View Agent requires.
The correct order any time you have to update the VMware Tools on a template for a View Pool is:
1. Update VMware Tools
2. Update/Install Horizon View Agent
3. Update/Install Horizon View Feature pack (if installed desired)
For your Windows 8 issue, what version of the hypervisor is installed on your ESXi host? When creating a new VM from within vCenter, if you cannot select Windows 8 for the VM, it is likely that either vCenter or your ESXi hosts (or both) are not at least at 5.1 (not 5.0 U1).
Thanks All for the support,
I have reconfigured
followed all the steps desscribed in the Evaluation Guide.
Now pool is Created But now error message is as follows
View Composer agent initialization state error (18) Failed to join Domain waited for (795 Seconds)..
My Domain Conroller is Not RODC.
Please Help.
HI,
i've got the same issue a few weeks ago , and i resolved my issue with this KB : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7707
Please try to install this KB inside your VM XP , and let me know if it is ok for you. I know that your Domain controller is not a RODC but you can try.
Regards,
Julien.
It is actually an issue with the DNS Server and I would say check the eventvwr from the DNS machine
