Horizon View client has built in scanner redirection. This has to be enabled in the View Client and the View agent. When properly working a scan via TWAIN or WIA inside the View machine makes the driver on the host machine perform the scan and compresses the scan image before sending over the wire to the View machine.
My question is about configuring and controlling this. Inside the View machine you will see a systray icon that indicates scanner redirection is working and shows you the available scanners being passed in from the client computer. The user can select the scanner they want to use as well as adjusting quality settings.

You can control most of these settings via GPO. In the GPO one of your options is to specify the specific scanner to use for this process. The GPO has a text box. The only thing that appears to work is typing in the entire specific name of the scanner being used. Our problem is that we have 5 different scanner models and we cannot find a way to put in a list or multiple scanner names. Does anyone know if this is possible.
