Horizon View Upgrade from 5.1

Hi guys,

I have a customer that is looking to upgrade to the latest version of Horizon 6.2.

Are there any intermediate upgrades that need to happen first before going to 6.2 or will they be able to go straight to 6.2

There are no security servers in this environment.  There is 1 connection server and 1 View composer server.  They are running vsphere 5.1 which we want to upgrade but we need to upgrade view first.

Thanks for any responses.

Jeff

The earliest version you can upgrade from is 5.1.3

If the environment is very small and they have a composer server so they are probably using linked clones I would just build a new 6.2 view manager and composer. Then just upgrade tools and the agent in the base image and re-create the pools. This would depend on where your user data is sitting and some other variables but I like clean installs when the versions are this far apart. It also allows you to test before going through the whole rigmarole...
