Horizon View Licensing Scenario

Jump to solution

End-User is setting up “training environment” to show off their software to prospective clients. Will have a maximum of 130 “students” connecting to the environment at any given time.

Tricky part is – due to the software they are trying out, each “student” will need to be logged onto two desktops at the same time, but using 1 AD account (if that's possible).

Does this mean they need licensing for 260 concurrent connections, or are they OK with 130 concurrent licenses for View?

Since VMware View is licensed on "Concurrently connected desktop" you would need 260 licenses in this scenario.
