Horizon View Client timeout setting

I am using Horizon View Client 5.0 on a Windows 10 (thin) client to connect to a VM using a direct-connection.

When the connection to the VM is broken, e.g. network failure, VM shutdown, it takes about 2 minutes for the client to respond and disconnect. Until then it is showing the latest screen image.

For the Horizon Cloud version there is a client heartbeat interval setting, however there doesn't seem to be a similar mechanism for direct-connection.

Is there a setting to lower the timeout for a direct-connection, preferably as low as to let the user be aware that something is wrong?

BVeldhuijzen,

The direct connection agent has a similar set of settings as the normal agent. I'm not sure which one of these options that is the correct one for your scenario though:

Lars,

Thank you for your answer. I know the direct connection agent is similar to the normal agent.

However, for the Horizon Cloud (Horizon Air) version there seem to be additional options regarding e.g. heartbeats.
