In Horizon 7.2 Video Memory is set on the snapshot now and that is supposed to determine the Screen Resolution, but if I set a video memory size I always get something like this:
Obviously that is enough video memory for something like 3 monitors at 1920x1080 and it does in fact work, but if you deploy this and go to the view client and then try to set the screen resolution from there you get all kinds of weird results for the sizes you can create.
The largest being 1904x979. It doesn't seem to understand the video settings and so it sets it to ridiculous max sizes. Is there a video memory table that it actually understands (the one in vsphere itself doesn't work)
Edit: It would appear that this is just how the client works. It gives very odd defaults for screen resolution. The top part still stands though, why doesn't Horizon View understand any of the memory sizes and put them into actual resolution sizes.
Is this what you are looking for?
Yeah, I guess that is what I was looking for. It would be nice if Horizon View actually understood the memory sizes though instead of getting stuff like this:
Obviously 96MB of VRAM gives 3 monitors at more than 533x1200 resolution.
