Horizon View 7.2 - NLB for LB connection servers?

Hi All,

IHAC that has only Microsoft NLB as an option to use LB for internal Connection Servers access.

We are deploying Horizon View 7.2

Any gottchas or things I should be looking for?

I have the https://www.vcloudnine.de/considerations-when-using-microsoft-nlb-with-vmware-horizon-view/  - is this relevant? has anyone tried this?

Is this supported for production?

technically its sufficient and it will work but its not recommended as explained in the article

you can think about other options

-

1. Use DNS Round Robin
2. use virtual appliances load balancer (free and good for small deployment) such citrix netscaler

DNS RR is also not session aware, no sticky session support and no health check.

Any other inputs?

Has anyone tried NLB with Horizon View 7? (For connection servers internal access only). External connections via Access Gateways will be using NetScaler LB in the DMZ.
