We have a new 6.1.1 environment and everything is working great except we can only seem to change the wallpaper to a solid color on our non persistent desktops and when we choose a custom wallpaper we made it or any other built in wallpaper it turns black.
I have ruled out GPO as well as our profile management tool, AppSense. I ran the Optimization Script for non persona mgt on my golden image and I am guessing that is the culprit. I have followed this KB, VMware KB: Cannot change Windows Wallpaper on View desktops, and it has not remedied the issue. In the registry it says it is loading the correct wallpaper and theme but everything is just black.
It may be worth noting I can change the theme/wallpaper to whatever i'd like on the golden image.
Any ideas here?
