I am trying to use VMware to connect to my company server while connected to their VPN. I enter the server name and click connect, VMware loads for a bit saying "initializing connection..." then I get an Alert that the connection timed out. I have never used VMware before or gotten beyond this step. My internet connection is working, I have granted VMware access under Accessibility, I am on macOS 11.5.2 and using VMware Horizon build 2111 Build 8.4.0
I have tried reviewing the logs but have only found "VMware View Client Services.log" which provides little info but does show ServiceImpl_Daemon: Running as Rosetta process and ServiceImplDaemon: Exiting with code 0
How can I diagnose what is going wrong? It seems to be finding the server which makes me think the issue is with my setup not the VPN or server itself?
