Horizon Pool - VM not being released to pool

I'm having issues with Horizon 7 pools. When a user logs into a VM at a zero client (is presented with login screen) but decides not to log in ie just disconnects the zero client the VM is not being released to the Pool for someone else to use. How can I rectify this?  I'm not using DEM/UEM or have any persistance for the VM-User.

Is there a setting i can change???

How is the user doing the logoff? I would guess the set needs to sign out/restart from within Windows y going to Windows > Power > Restart or by right clicking on Windows and choose to sign out. Restarting the zero client won't logoff the VM.

Else you can try the desktop pool setting 'Logoff After Disconnect'.

Hi, I've noticed when the user is presented with a login screen even if he doesn't login ie just closes the horizon client window without logging in, I would expect the VM to be released back to the floating pool.

The Pool setting is set to Log-off on disconnection immediately.
