Horizon Pool Migration

Hi to everyone,

I have 1000 manual desktop pools that point to a vcenter with 10 hosts.

I need to move all hosts to a new vcenter, it's possibile to repoint deskpool to the new vcenter or I have to recreate manually 1000 pools?

You need to recreate it, and you need to add the new center to horizon too. They only way that wouldn't be needed if the pool is physical machines and you didn't add them from vcenter. When you move anything to a new vcenter, all of those items need to be recreated, since physical machines aren't associated with  vcenter, it doesn't matter.

I'm trying the following procedure:

1. Deploy new one vCenter
2. Power off the old vCenter
3. Change IP and FQDN to the new one with older settings
4. Force Hosts reconnection.

And it works fine.
