Is there any way to script custom names instead of machine naming pattern with instant clones?
What i would like to do is to add computer names to the desktop pool which should be deployed instead of using naming pattern. I know this is possible with fully virtual machines, but i don't want to make full virtual machine copies from template.
For example:
VD-TEST01
VD-CustomName
VD-MYVM
and so on. And hopefully being able to add / remove names when needed from script.
Edit: Another solution could be to rename the machine after being created with naming pattern, however I still would like to know how.
