I had been informed in anther thread that I should be able to see the IP address of the client initiating a Horizon Desktop session by using
the Horizon Help Desk Tool. What I'm running into however is that when I find a session of state "CONNECTED" and right click on it
I see "Show Details" - which looks so promising. But when I select it, nothing at all happens. Might anyone have an idea as to why? Thanks!
Question, is it a internal or external user that you are trying to look at?
Just wondering if you have tunneling turned on via the Connection server.
I have some users coming in via the UAG and some coming in directly to the
connection server. I'm not certain what the three or so example cases I've
run into were. What I'm trying to do is have a means of NOT requring users
to start/cmd/ipconfig which is awkward and slow.
On the clients do you have the VMware Logon Monitor service set to automatic?
also enable timing on the Connection Servers doing the following.
Use the following vdmadmin command to enable the timing profiler on each Connection Server instance:
vdmadmin -I -timingProfiler -enable
Use the following vdmadmin command to enable the timing profiler on a Connection Server instance that uses a management port:
vdmadmin -I -timingProfiler -enable -server {ip/server}
from Using Horizon Help Desk Tool in Horizon Console
What version of Horizon are you running?
FYI if you need some help.

May want to report this as a bug if that didn't help you.
