Horizon Fullscreen on the new 14 or 16' MacBook Pro not working correctly

Hi

I have the new MacBook Pro in 16 and 14' and I am facing the same problem on Bothe machines with vdi Version 2106.1.

As soon as I switch to full screen, I have big bezels on the sides...are the new resolutions not supported yet ? As far as I know it should just fit the screen as it does on my other orders MacBook.

am I missing something ?

Thanks

Lionel

Would you please open the VMware Horizon Client's settings page, go the the table row of your vm, click the display tab in the right side, and check whether the resolution is not Automatic?

It's correct.

Would you please collect the client log through the "collect" button in the about window?

Please collect one from the MacBook that works well and one from the MacBook that work abnormal.

Please connect the same vm when reproduce.

Thanks & Regards

One thing you may need to try is go to vcenter, power off the vm, wait 1 min, then power on.

If issue still exist. You may also need go to the connection-server admin page to check whether the monitor number and allowed resolution for the vm is set properly.

I'm seeing the same issue, 14" MacBook Pro, and multiple different VMs all have shrink in when going full screen. Attached is an image of the bezels compared to the toolbar.

If the vm are fresh installed, you need to try the comments above to power off the agent vm the allow reconfigure.

Besides,  pcoip at most support 4K, if you enable hight resolution in Mac, it may exceed 4k and show abnormal; please try Blast protocol as well.

If above cannot help, I'm afraid you need file help ticket to get more support.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Zhenghua,

Thanks for the suggestions. In this case, the VMs are not new, and have been rebooted/shut down multiple times. Blast was also being used already, not PCoIP.

I will open a support ticket.
